 The importance of RA 6713 ,All government personnel are governed by RA 6713, also known as the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, which aims to encourage a high degree of ethics in public service.code of conduct serves as an internal guide that governs actions, especially the decision-making process. A code is also created to serve the public and fulfill their expectations of the business or profession.The long-standing principle that public office is a public trust is uphold by the code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials and employees, which also provides incentives and rewards for exemplary service, lists prohibited acts and transactions and stipulates penalties for their commission, among other things.

The Philippine Strategy for Sustainable Development aims to promote economic growth while protecting the biological diversity and resources of the nation, as well as the essential ecosystem services and overall environmental quality. It uses several different implementation methodologies as its foundation. The goal of this is to resolve and reconcile the various, and occasionally competing, environmental, demographic, economic, and resource usage challenges brought on by the nation's development initiatives. The strategies include: 1) incorporating environmental concerns into decision-making;  2) pricing natural resources appropriately; 3) reforming property rights;  4) establishing an integrated protected areas system;  5) restoring degraded ecosystems;  6) strengthening residuals management in industry (pollution control);  7) incorporating population concerns and social welfare in development planning; and  8) encouraging growth.

 REPUBLIC ACT 9003 ECOLOGICAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT OF 2000 In partnership with stakeholders, the law aims to adopt a systematic, comprehensive and ecological solid waste management program that shall ensure the protection of public health and environment. The law ensures proper segregation, collection, storage, treatment and disposal of solid waste through the formulation and adaptation of best eco-waste products. Through a multi-sectoral, inclusive approach engaging all the stakeholders, it offers a complete and integrated strategy to avoid and mitigate pollution. Environmental protection legislation This law aims to safeguard public health, build an ecological civilization, improve environmental protection, and prevent and control pollution as well as other public hazards. It also supports sustainable economic and social development.
